We've been busy deliverying the features that we hear members say they want!

The new SEARCH feature makes it easier to find members from the "View All Members" page. Fill in the blanks to search by name, city, state or country.

The new chat system is also now open. You will notice at the bottom of every screen is a new toolbar. If you point to each icon, you will see an explaination of what each of them does.

The main features are:

• Click to Chat with other members in the main Toilet, a member's stall, or create your own stall.
• Chat with Buddies - On the right side of the bottom toolbar you can see how many of your buddies are logged in. When you click it, you can send chat messages to any of them. The buddy list shows whos available for chat.
• Click to translate the current page into any language in our list. Way cool hey?

How is Chat different from the Send Message feature? Chat is primarily for communicating with other members who are online. You can still send messages to anyone who is not online. Send message alerts members that they have a new message via email. The chat system does not.

Over the last few months we have been preparing to roll out a large number of new website features.   Much of that work is now complete.  But we're already planning for more.   This article describes what is new and what is coming!

New to PissPigs

We want PissPigs to be a place where everyone feels open to cruise around and be men doing what men do.   To meet that objective we added:

• Tough Anti-Spamming and Legal Restrictions - The message is clear.  If you're not here to enjoy pissing around with other gay men then get the hell out.    To that end we now check every registering member's email and IP address against lists maintained by several reputable anti-spamming organizations.   Your info doesn't go anywhere - we do this in a way that maintains the privacy of our members.   On the otherhand, spammer activity gets reported to the monitoring organizations.
• New Graphics - We're all men here so we thought the "pissing in hell" look was appropriate.  We will still continue to evolve the look, because as we grow there more info to highlight on the front page.  We are also getting rid of some of the clutter - things that members don't seem interested in using.
• New Events Page - Now you can see the list of upcoming piss events about which we know.  Very soon you will be able to add events that you know about but are not alread on the list.
• Privacy - The results of our poll clearly indicated that most users feel that your should at least be required to register to see other member specifics.     You will now notice that only a few tiny photos of new members are displayed on the front page as a teaser.   But at that size no one could really identify anyone.
• New Member Search Links - Soon you will have explicit links to display guys in your own city or country.
• Profile Name Link - You can distribute links to your profile now!   Everyone's profile link is as follows: pisspigs.com/{Your Member Name}.    For example, my profile is at pisspigs.com/bigwoof .  Kewl.  If someone has your profile link, then they can see just your profile information, wheather or not they are a PissPigs member.

In Development

So what's coming a few months down the road?

• We are going to add some sort of blog or forums - so members the ability to publish information and experience.   We may even have official collumnists.  I think we've got a few members already interested.
• Geographical proximity search - we adding a link so that you can search for members that are within a specific distance from you and display them sorted by their proximity.   This is a big feature that I think will members will really like.
• We are investigating adding some sort of chat capability.
• I have had a few requests from members to add porn website review capability.   These reviews are strictly to provide a guide on the best use of your porn budget.
